“Stay In The Light” is built around a simple tension: the pull between darkness and whatever keeps drawing you forward.
The track sits in a big room EDM space, but the heart of it is the two-note electro-violin motif. It keeps returning through the verses, builds and drops, acting almost like a signal underneath everything else. The verses stay sparse, the pre-chorus opens things up, and then the chorus lands with full synth stabs, wider harmonies and the violin carrying the main hook.
There is a minor-to-Dorian lift running through the track that gives it that sense of movement without making it too sentimental. Dark water, distant voices, small sparks and light all show up in the lyrics, but none of it is meant to be taken too literally. The idea is more about holding onto the one thing that keeps you moving when everything around you feels uncertain.
Bright, wide, hypnotic and built to keep pushing forward.
